Thanksgiving dinner went off without a hitch. It was really fun to fry the turkey. Providing the weather is good, I can see us working that cooking preparation into our Thanksgiving dinner tradition future years to come.We had dessert at a friends house. I made pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting -recipe to come!- and he made steamed persimmon pudding from fruit off of a tree on their property. Speaking of dessert: Places in The Home posted a no crust coconut pie I am dying to try out! Perhaps I’ll do one for our Winter Solstice party in mid-December?
