As you’ll see, Maggie (Eat Drink Marry) and I are in the full throws of designing and editing her wedding stationery. I sent an envelope full of paper samples earlier this week and today we had phone consultation while she looked over the digital sketches I designed for them.
You may recall her Campaign idea. Well, I have played off of that and her love of pattern to create a mix-and-match suite of Red & Blue.
At this point in the bespoke process the couple are going to look over the collection of samples that I made especially for them. They will decide which pieces they like and give me feedback on the designs. We will edit the suite from this point *together* so that they end up with a stationery suite that they love, LOVE, absolutely L-O-V-E!
I have been vague with the colors for them by choice. This way they can pick exactly what paper they want – it is like picking the fabric for a bespoke suit! One good decision makes the next one that much easier. It is my job to guide them through the process and help them decide what looks best all while reflecting their personality as a couple.
I am going to let Maggie leak out as much (or as little) of her stationery designs as she desires during the design and editing phase. Feel free to follow along with the design process at the Eat Drink Marry blog!
