The Scottsdale Princess would be the perfect relaxing honeymoon. You’d never have to leave the property – that is – unless you wanted to!
With the desert, Sedona, the Grand Canyon near by there is plenty of hiking and wildlife to see. They have a trip into the desert late at night (you’re outfitted with night-vision goggles) to check out the wild night animals! How cool, right?
This is the pool on the roof-top of the Willow Stream Spa. I have been to a lot of spas in my day … and this one is one of the best! Some of the features include a full gym with fitness classes, an outdoor area where spa lunch is served, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna, a waterfall therapy hot tub, the roof pool and full spa services. I spent two full days at the Willow Stream spa. Between working out and pool lounging -I was in heaven. I had a massage and facial one day and manicure/pedicure the next. All of the spa services were top notch.
Bourbon Steak is just one of the eight amazing restaurants at the resort. The night I was there they brought a trio of gourmet french fries and coordinating fancy ketchup as an amuse bouche – one of which was fried in duck fat. I bet you didn’t know that fries could taste better than they already do!!
Even the in-room dining was a treat. Our room had a balcony (room service may be ordered from many of the restaurants) and a President’s lounge where afternoon snacks and breakfast were served daily.
It would also be a great place to run off with your wedding attendants for pre-wedding fun! If you’re searching for a mature way to host the Bachelor/Bachelorette Party, why not consider a group trip? Boys could golf, the gals could hit one of the many pools or go to the spa. The whole group could meet in the evening for a delectable dinner!
