… I am currently working on making my desk space function optimally … so I am a little obsessed with desks, chairs and creating an inspirational space to work!
Left to right, Top to bottom. Cork Board with finished projects, ideas, current inspiration – Photo of me when I was 5 years old. I danced to ‘The Boy from New York City’ by the Manhattan Transfer. I may have met the boy in New York City, but he is a southern boy at heart! – Supplies, books and files full of images and magazine tares – Ribbon and Pantone Color Books, Envelopes and Personal Stationery – A note that Style Icon Linda Dresner wrote me when I was working with her. “Welcome Amy, You are going places … Keep up the good work … Linda” – And last but not least, a few of my books. The entire closet next to my desk is chalk full of design and craft books. Delightful.
This is one fine looking desk!
Originally a desk used by a postmaster, I could see myself making good use of it now. Rubber stamps in one bin, paper in another, ribbons, envelopes, paint brushes, samples and the list goes on…
Studio Ilse did a lovely job with this office, my very favorite office chair with her curvy 36-24-36 desk. Love this workspace. Books right at hand for reference, nice.
